This is a broad and varied role requiring the job holder to be able to spin many plates! Hence the salary is competitive at 28,000 (14.85 per hour). The responsibilities include:
Providing organisational and administrative support to the Engineering, Production, Health, Safety and Environmental departments.
Liaising with suppliers to ensure that parts and consumables are ordered and delivered as required.
Managing stores and stock levels and communicating with other teams as required.
To collect, collate and update all operational information in a timely and accurate way, including KPIs, meeting minutes, Preventative Maintenance data, Task trackers, Standard Operating Procedures, Purchase Orders and Budget trackers.
Administering the engineering system for Planned Preventative Maintenance Schedules and works orders, providing data and reports as required.
Key Requirements:
Previous Administrative experience in a manufacturing and/or engineering environment with the ability to understand 'engineering and technical' terms and production principles
Able to demonstrate effective personal organisation, motivation and attention to detail
Flexibility, with a positive approach and someone who is confident, reliable and able to multitask
Competent with all Microsoft packages and able to learn other company software effectively and diligently
