Engineering Programme Manager

Engineering Programme Manager

As an Engineering Programme Manager, you'll lead the delivery of high-impact infrastructure programmes from concept to completion. You'll manage multiple projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure everything runs smoothly--on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.


This role requires a strong understanding of project management principles, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep knowledge of construction and engineering processes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the successful delivery of large infrastructure programmes. Manage programme plans, budgets, schedules, and resources. Coordinate interdependent projects and ensure alignment with strategic goals. Mitigate risks and manage change across the programme lifecycle. Engage with stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory bodies. Drive innovation and continuous improvement in programme delivery.

Who Do We Need

We are looking for significant experience managing large-scale defence and nuclear infrastructure programmes.


You will have:

Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills. Expertise in programme management methodologies. Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and resource planning.

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience). Professional Certifications (e.g., APM, PMI, or similar).

Location

Warrington, Manchester or Cumbria

Security Requirements

UK Security Clearance may be required for some roles.
