The Opportunity: Engineering Services Account Manager




Contract: Permanent




Location: Scotland (National)




Start date: 1st Jan 2026




Salary: 42,000 - 50,000

The Impact you will have:




Actively identify and escalate safety concerns

related to Briggs or customer operations, ensuring prompt resolution through the appropriate channels.

Manage and develop strong relationships

with an assigned portfolio of customers, focusing on all contract types and revenue streams.

Collaborate effectively across departments

--including CCM, Credit Control, Engineering Managers, Engineers, and Service Centres--to streamline processes, increase service income, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Provide technical sales support

for Plant and Groundcare products, assisting both customers and the Engineering Manager.

Identify and pursue growth opportunities

by increasing the share of customer spend across all services and products.

Respond professionally to tender enquiries

across multiple platforms, positioning Briggs Equipment as the preferred supplier in the sector.

Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships

at all customer levels to drive revenue growth and ensure exceptional service delivery.

Ensure full compliance

with engineering standards, health and safety regulations, and audit requirements in partnership with the Engineering Manager and Engineering Services team.

Track and communicate contract performance

using BE Portal KPIs and Power BI reports to maintain transparency and support customer satisfaction.

Promote and expand Truckcare contracts

, targeting both existing and potential customers to grow the active fleet park.

Champion continuous improvement initiatives

, contributing to the ongoing enhancement of business unit performance.

Foster a positive and inclusive work environment

, supporting Briggs' ambition to be recognised as an employer of choice.

Support talent development and succession planning

, working with the Engineering Manager to identify and mentor future leaders through structured Briggs development programmes.
