Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced stores person to work on a transformational project of an engineering stores at a food based manufacturer. The role initially will be for a 3 month period but could lead to longer and also a more permanent role with the contractor who is undertaking the work.

Duties

Cataloguing and itemising current stock Re-organising the layout of stock to ensure it is presentable and tidy Update descriptions in end user database Update information within Microsoft excel Collaborate with end user to ensure correct data is entered onto the system Label and identify storage areas to ensure stock is visible and accessible Assist in inventory management, including stock replenishment and organisation.

Experience

The ideal candidate will have experience or familiarity with the following skills:

Engineering stores design / layout Stores and distribution FIFO Working experience of an engineering / technical stores
Candidates with a background in technical / parts stores is essential. A passion for technology and a willingness to learn about our product offerings are essential for success in this role.

This role will be split across two customer sites. One in Trafford Park, Manchester for 3 days per week and 2 days per week in Bury.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Graduate
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: 16.00 per hour
