JLL Workplace Management is currently recruiting for a Site Engineering Supervisor at our prestigious 78 St James's Street location. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities, including statutory compliance for the property and reporting on any issues identified by client consultants or insurers through Riskwise or Vantify systems.
The Supervisor will collaborate closely with the Contract Delivery Manager, deputising in their absence, and will maintain strong working relationships with the General Manager and soft services teams to ensure seamless facility operations.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure full compliance with JLL and client Health and Safety policies and procedures on site, escalating any conflicts outside Safe Systems of Work to the Contract Manager as required
Support the Contract Administrator in planning PPM activities, including out-of-hours work scheduling, reactive task coordination, and ensuring effective completion of all maintenance work through direct reports or subcontractors, including RAMS and Permit to Work management
Ensure servicing records are maintained and any recommendations from servicing activities are appropriately addressed and tracked
Work within agreed quality management systems, implementing preventative and remedial actions as defined in the quality manual
Provide technical expertise and support to the maintenance team
Prepare quotations for additional works and client variations as required
Supervise additional works on site ensuring full compliance with site requirements and Permit to Work processes
Conduct regular site audits, identifying and resolving any non-compliance or operational issues
Ensure best procurement practices using JLL's approved supplier network
Comply with JLL's Health, Safety and Environmental procedures as detailed in site-specific plans
Deputise for Contract Delivery Manager in KPI meetings and client interactions when required
Attend monthly Work in Progress (WIP) meetings to develop understanding of contract financial management
Complete any other reasonable requests or associated tasks as directed by the Contract Delivery Manager
Essential Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 3 years' experience
as a Low Voltage Authorised Person (LVAP), with hands-on operational experience in commercial building environments
Minimum 2 years' proven experience
in maintenance, operation, or installation of cooling towers and associated water treatment systems
Demonstrable knowledge of Legionella control (L8)
standards with minimum 2 years' practical application experience in commercial facilities
BMS proficiency
with minimum 2 years' experience using Building Management Systems for monitoring and controlling building services
Electrically qualified
with strong mechanical/HVAC systems knowledge
High-profile commercial property experience

Relevant technical qualifications

City & Guilds electrical qualifications (2391, 18th Edition)
