Vacancy - Engineering Team Leader

We're seeking an experienced Engineering Team Leader to join our thriving business to play a key role in the day-to-day operation and maintenance of our port facilities. You'll be part of a supportive and structured working environment, with exciting opportunities for personal and professional development.

Your role




You will lead, develop and manage a team of Operatives performing general maintenance across Sheerness and Chatham Docks, delivering hands-on coaching, performance management, and team development. You will plan, organise and oversee maintenance projects and tasks to maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of our operation.

You will support operations at Chatham Docks and provide cover at Sheerness when needed.

What you'll bring




You will have:
Professional qualifications in

electrical

,

mechanical

,

civil

, or

project marine engineering

Experience of

effectively leading a team

Proven

communication skills

with a collaborative and approachable leadership style Strong

IT literacy

and

numerical competence

Excellent

planning

and

analytical

skills Previous experience in a

fast-paced operational environment

Ideally,

IOSH Managing Safely

and

First Aid at Work

certification A

full, valid UK driving licence
