We're seeking a skilled

Mechanical Engineering Technician

to join our innovative manufacturing team. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our plant's control and electrical systems. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment. You'll collaborate with various teams to ensure smooth operations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

Identify and eliminate defects, develop maintenance routines, and calibrate instruments Assist in plant design, modification, and hazard analysis Provide technical support, training, and apprentice development Implement HSEQ standards and environmental safeguards Manage SAP data, coordinate with contractors, and procure materials Participate in performance management and report safety incidents Support reliability improvements and ensure efficient operations

Qualifications

Relevant apprenticeship or HNC with 3+ years hands-on experience In-depth knowledge of engineering systems and COMAH site requirements Proficiency in SAP and problem-solving techniques Strong communication and teamwork skills Commitment to HSEQ standards and continuous improvement
