Job Description

This role is an important position for an industry leading and highly respected company. Covering a variety of tasks, the chosen candidate will enable the smooth operation of the manufacturing team.

Engineers Assistant role to include (but not be limited to):



Measuring & Cutting steel to length Shot blasting Paint spraying of components (Training will be given) Picking spares for assembly jobs Assisting engineers as required Basic fitting duties

Caretaker duties to include

-

Maintaining workshop and outside areas to ensure they are in a safe and tidy condition Carrying out any other duties that may be assigned by the Workshop Manager

Goods Incoming and Outgoing Assistant



Booking in customer tooling on job cards

Booking in bought in items and assigning to stores

Packing items ready for despatch

Dealing with couriers and trade counter

Candidate Requirements:



Experience and knowledge within an engineering/manufacturing
Environment would be an advantage

Physically fit Adaptable & reliable
Driving license - some localised driving (generally within the Rotherham and Sheffield areas) so the successful applicant must hold a full UK driving license.

A forklift license would be highly beneficial but not essential
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 24,500.00 per year

Schedule:

Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
