Job Description

FIND are a specialist staffing business, servicing the Skills, Learning & Apprenticeship markets across the UK. We're on the lookout for a Functional Skills Tutors to support with delivery of English & Maths to learners completing their vocational courses.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Lead and manage the Functional Skills Delivery English & Maths provision for learners. + Deliver high-quality Functional Skills Classes adapting to various learning styles and needs to suit small groups of learners.
+ Ensure inclusive teaching strategies are embedded across the team.
+ Promote a positive learning environment that supports engagement, wellbeing, and progress.
+ Develop and implement effective schemes of work and curriculum planning tailored to individual learner needs.
+ Provide support of safeguarding measures.
+ Monitor and evaluate teaching and learning standards, carrying out observations and learning walks.
+ Track learner progress, outcomes, and achievement rates against key performance indicators (KPIs).
+ Ensure compliance with awarding bodies, funding requirements, and college policies

Person Specification:

Essential:

Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, PTTLS) Level 2 or above qualification in English and Maths. Proven experience delivering Functional Skills - supporting learners with ALN's.
Salary up to 28,000 + additional benefits.
