A friendly and inclusive secondary school in Eastbourne is looking for a passionate and caring
English Specialist
to join their supportive faculty. The successful candidate will inspire and guide students across Key Stages 3 and 4, nurturing a love of English and helping each student achieve their potential.Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and accessible English lessons in line with the school curriculum. Support students' learning and personal development through constructive feedback and encouragement. Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment. Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and collaborative initiatives.
Requirements:
QTS preferred but not essential.
Experience teaching secondary school English is desirable. CurrentDBS on the Update Service
or willingness to obtain one. Up-to-datesafeguarding training
or commitment to complete it. Strong communication and organisational skills. A caring and patient approach, with a passion for helping students thrive both academically and personally.Benefits:
