Job Description

A school is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher of English to join their team on a long-term supply basis covering maternity leave.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the curriculum Teach English Language and Literature across appropriate age groups and ability levels Assess, monitor, and report on student progress using a range of assessment methods Provide constructive feedback to support student achievement Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment Differentiate lessons to meet the diverse needs of learners Prepare students for internal and external examinations where applicable Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and progress Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leadership Participate in staff meetings, CPD, and school events
Rate: Daily rate (6.5-hour working day)
