Job Introduction
As we continue to enhance our core curriculum delivery, we are seeking a dynamic and committed teacher to join our well-established English department from January 2026 - or earlier, should the right candidate be available.
This is a part-time role (0.35 timetable), with teaching spread across Monday, Thursday, and Friday. While the position is fixed-term, there may be opportunities for additional hours, particularly for candidates willing to support with cover lessons.
The successful applicant will teach English Language and Literature to KS3, with the potential to contribute to KS4 teaching in the future. Our students are a pleasure to teach - motivated, engaged, and full of character - and we're looking for someone who shares our enthusiasm for inspiring young minds and fostering a love of learning.
You'll be joining a friendly, professional, and supportive organisation that is fully committed to achieving the best academic and personal outcomes for our students, as well as providing excellent professional development for staff.
Yateley School is a large, high-achieving centre of excellence, deeply rooted in its local community. Our examination results are consistently strong, comparing favourably with schools both locally and nationally at GCSE and A-Level. We are a cohesive and forward-thinking school, excited about the future of education and driven by a shared pursuit of excellence.
We're looking for a resilient, creative, and committed individual who can make a positive contribution to our school and inspire both students and colleagues. The successful candidate will embody the ethos, values, and ambitions of Yateley School.
