Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tutoring or teaching, with experience working with children of various ages. This role is designed for individuals who are committed to fostering a positive learning environment and helping students achieve their academic goals. Experience in special education is a plus, as we aim to support diverse learning needs.

Duties

Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs. Develop customised lesson plans and educational materials to enhance student understanding. Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student confidence and engagement. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educational staff regarding student performance and areas for improvement. Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.

Requirements

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with children. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information and engage students. Experience or knowledge in special education is highly desirable. Ability to create an inclusive learning environment that accommodates diverse learning styles. A patient, empathetic approach to teaching that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning. Pay: 16.24-39.04 per hour
