Quality Learning is looking for experienced

English

tutors

to teach at our centre on the

weekends or weekday evenings.

We are based in Plaistow, East London, and are currently open to students from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday to Tuesday and from 10 am to 5 pm in the weekends.

Please do not apply for this job if you cannot work on weekends.

Responsibilities and Duties

Arriving 15 minutes prior to your first session begins to plan tailored lessons for your students

Being flexible with pre-planned content, adapting it to individual students' needs

Reporting to parents on their child's progress in your subject

Completing basic administration tasks efficiently

Qualifications and Skills

You must be a graduate in English or studying a Degree in English

You must have tutoring experience

Must have good GCSE and A Level grade

You must be able to teach KS2, KS3 or GCSE English

You have experience in - and a passion for - working with children and young people, particularly in community settings

You have excellent verbal and written communications skills

You will be organised and have excellent time management skills

Recent (up to 36 months) DBS certificate (please attach with application form)

An understanding of the school curriculum

You are flexible with your time
