Are you passionate about data architecture and governance, and eager to lead data-driven transformation? We're seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to shape and steward our enterprise-wide data architecture.

About the Role




You'll unify and optimise our data assets, ensuring quality, integrity, security, and availability. Partnering with diverse stakeholders, you'll promote best practices and enable data-driven decision-making.

You will be responsible for:



Leading, defining and maintaining the enterprise data architecture strategy and roadmap. Designing metadata, master data, reference data, and quality standards with the Data & BI team. Leading the data integration and warehousing solutions. Collaborating with stakeholders and engineers to define data requirements and structures. Establishing and upholding data architecture principles, standards, and policies. Ensuring compliance with governance, privacy, and regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.). Guiding selection and implementation of modern data platforms, tools, and technologies. Monitoring data flows for consistency and quality across the enterprise. Supporting advanced analytics, BI, and AI/ML by ensuring robust data architecture. Maintaining clear architectural documentation and technical specifications.

Skills & Qualifications



Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience. Significant proven experience in leading strategy on data architecture, modelling, or enterprise architecture. Deep knowledge of data frameworks, patterns, and best practices. Proven ability to align data initiatives with business goals and present project updates to Senior Leadership. Expert in data modelling, integration (ETL/ELT), and storage technologies. Experience with SQL/NoSQL, cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery), and data lakes. Familiarity with governance and metadata tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation). Expert knowledge of big data tools (Kafka, Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to provide guidance on technology recommendations. Strong grasp of data security best practices.


TPT operates a hybrid working pattern including 2 days in the office in Leeds.
