Our vast direct-to-store (DTS) distribution network, comprising of 17 depots nationwide, enables us to make over 10,500 daily deliveries of our own chilled and frozen produce and that of third parties.
What You'll Be Doing
The Environment Manager oversees provisioning, configuration, and scheduling of IT environments to support testing and delivery. Reporting to the Head of Testing & QA, the role ensures environments are reliable, available, and aligned with project timelines. It mitigates risks related to availability and conflicts, playing a key role in the success of IT testing and delivery processes
Provision and maintain test environments.
Manage environment scheduling and allocation.
Collaborate with project teams on environment requirements.
Monitor and optimise environment performance.
Manage environment-related risks and issues.
Support environment configuration and data preparation.
Document and standardise environment management.

Proven experience in managing IT environments in a testing or delivery context
Robust understanding of environment provisioning, configuration, and scheduling practices
Familiarity with tools and frameworks used for environment management and monitoring
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Good collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Knowledge of software development and testing lifecycles, including Agile methodologies, is desirable
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Certifications in relevant tools or frameworks (e.g. ITIL, DevOps, or cloud platforms) are advantageous
