The role of the Environmental Coordinator is to deliver a first class service to the business, maintaining and improving Environmental performance and compliance. The role will be the focus for the carbon footprint reporting and reduction measures across the global business, and feed into our Science Based Targets response and our other environmental commitments. As carbon management is a key focus area for PA, the successful candidate will be at the forefront of ensuring we are rigorous and effective in our environmental performance strategies.

Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities:



Project Management & General



Manage and improve the environment and carbon management systems + Track and report on carbon footprint performance for the company
+ Collaborate with the business to maintain and improve environmental performance
+ Write, develop and update environmental documents and procedures in line with legal and company requirements
+ Mobilise & ensure implementation of environmental management system at new PA offices
Achieve & maintain Environmental ISO accreditations at PA sites where required Communicate Environmental messages across the business as required + Respond to environmental queries from the business
+ Own the environmental company intranet pages
+ Manage environmental computer systems
Contribute to reports to senior management on environmental activities Act as first point of contact for environmental queries on corporate RFIs Work alongside the rest of the HSEQ team to maintain and support the UK auditing schedule to meet regulatory and compliance requirements + Assist in external audit and inspection processes as required
+ Schedule and contribute to internal audit processes to maintain compliance
+ Assist in developing and monitoring environmental targets, objectives and performance measures

Energy and Environment



Document and manage PA's environmental aspects and impacts register Collect data from the Facilities Management teams to support E&E certifications Enable improvements in energy consumption across the PA estate

Hybrid working - our approach is to be in the office or on client site a minimum of 2 days per week. However, the actual time you spend and where you spend it will vary by role or assignment.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications



Degree calibre, or appropriate equivalent professional qualification Knowledge of carbon footprint measurement and reduction tools and guidelines Ideally, a minimum of three years working in an international professional services environment Excellent written and oral communication skills in English Well versed in data handling and use of MS Excel Formal environmental management qualification preferred Candidates with wider health and safety experience on top of environmental management competency could be considered for a more general EHS management role
