What you'll be doing

Provide clear and timely environmental information to support decision-making. Work closely with local management on environmental initiatives. Monitor emissions to air and water in line with IPPC permit requirements. Organise and collect external environmental samples. Learn about the waste hierarchy and UK waste legislation, assisting with monitoring and reporting of site waste activities. Help raise environmental awareness across the site. Track and report Key Environmental Performance Indicators.
What we're looking for

You've successfully completed the first two years of a degree (by summer 2026) in a relevant engineering or environmental discipline. Confident with IT and familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. A collaborative approach and ability to build positive relationships. Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
