We are seeking a dedicated Yard Groom to help care for our three horses/ponies. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping to keep our stables and yard clean and tidy and helping to ensure the wellbeing of our much loved animals.
Duties
Grooming and care of our horse/ponies.
Turnout.
Mucking out stables, sweeping the yard.
Preparing feeds, hay nets etc.
Giving medication as directed.
Requirements
Experience with animal care, general stable yard work and knowledge of equines is essential.
Physical fitness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform manual tasks each morning.
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills related to yard duties and animal welfare.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 10 per week
Work Location: In person
