Due to expansion, Farley Hall Equestrian are looking for a new full-time groom.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering a high standard of horse care.
The role involves giving daily 5star care to our liveries, this will include occasional exercising if the candidate wanted. Due to the high standard of care given, the groom:horse ratio is generally 1:4.
Responsibilities
Daily turning out & bringing in of horses.
Grooming to a high standard.
Mucking out boxes to a high standard
Assisting with the exercise and handling of horses as required.
Monitoring the health and behaviour of horses, reporting any concerns to management.
Perform basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning equipment and ensuring tools are in good working order.
Experience
Previous experience working with horses is essential.
A strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential traits for success in this role.
