To deliver, collect, decontaminate, and maintain rental equipment for use in NHS hospitals. This role covers the full rental cycle, from post-return processing to re-delivery.
You will act as an ambassador for OSKA, ensuring professionalism at all times and sharing customer feedback with account managers while in the field. Additionally, you will support the team and contribute to the business growth strategy across our areas of expertise.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Delivery and collection of rental equipment
Delivery of rental equipment to hospital site* Collection of rental equipment when contract ends*
Decontamination and Cleaning
Returned equipment must go through a full decontamination process (disinfecting, steam cleaning, washing of fabrics etc)* Tagging or labelling items as 'clean, contaminated, faulty'*
Maintenance, Inspection and Safety Testing
Perform safety testing, functionality, and electronical safety checks on rental equipment after completion of decontamination process* Conduct a thorough inspection - including visual checks of general condition, welded joints (if applicable), motor and wiring condition, full range of motion tests, brake/control system checks, PAT (portable appliance testing) where required and any necessary repairs* Accurately document inspection and repair activities to ensure complete equipment history and traceability*
Other Responsibilities
Maintain and clean company van when required* Work according to company quality and health & safety standards (e.g. cleaning/disinfection/maintenance policies)* To maintain up to date knowledge of OSKA products* Be available to support other teams as required to ensure OSKA is effectively promoted to customers and clients, while meeting all SLAs and contractual obligations*
Key Role Requirements
Essential
Full UK Driving Licence* Flexibility - role will involve reacting to incoming orders with short delivery times* Mechanical/electrical/technical competency - to inspect, test, maintain, calibrate, and repair medical equipment* Ability to work under pressure, sometimes with urgent or emergency rental requests* Good organisational skills and attention to detail - for record-keeping, maintenance logs, stock tracking, documentation of inspection/repair history* Communication skills and ability to train or advise healthcare staff on safe & appropriate use of equipment.* Proximity to head office (within 25 miles)*
Desirable
Experience delivering goods/services preferably in the healthcare sector*
