Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced HR and ER specialist to join our People team at Gamma. The ideal candidate will have a relevant professional qualification (such as CIPD) and/or more than 3 years of experience in a customer facing HR role handling complex cases. You should have a proven track record of managing employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinaries and redundancies, as well as up to date knowledge of employment law and best practices in the UK.

What will you be doing day-to-day?

As an ER Specialist, you will be part of the People Business Partnering team, providing high-quality people support to employees, team leaders, and managers. Your responsibilities will include managing Employment Relations cases, providing timely and professional advice, guidance and coaching to line managers, and developing trusted relationships across the business.

You be involved in delivering training sessions, supporting HR cyclical processes, and working on various people-related projects such as organization development and transformation initiatives. As a key support to our Heads of Business Partnering, you will be accountable for identifying employee relations trends within our business units, and recommending solutions to drive our employee experience.

What You'll Need

Relevant professional qualification (CIPD) and/or more than 3 years of experience in a customer-facing HR role handling complex cases Proven experience and comprehensive track record of managing employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinaries, and redundancies Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and best practices across the UK Ability to design and deliver relevant workshops and training sessions to drive managerial competence High level of communication and engagement skills, along with great attention to detail Resilience in handling conflict in a positive and constructive manner A personal growth mindset with a desire to continuously learn and grow Proven ability to deal with change and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment Initiative and the ability to work independently Fluency in English

A few things to note

This role can be based in our central London (City) or Manchester offices, and will require 3 days a week in the office, along with occasional travel to other UK locations Unfortunately, we can't offer visa sponsorship or relocation support for this role.
