Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Escrow Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating real estate transactions by managing the escrow process from start to finish. This position requires strong organisational skills, a solid understanding of financial services, and the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately. As an Escrow Officer, you will ensure that all parties involved in a transaction are informed and satisfied throughout the process.

Responsibilities

Manage the escrow process for real estate transactions, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Coordinate communication between buyers, sellers, real estate agents, and lenders to facilitate smooth transactions. Prepare and review escrow documents, including closing statements and settlement statements. Conduct thorough reviews of title reports and ensure all necessary documentation is in order before closing. Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure timely disbursement of funds. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to escrow services.

Qualifications

Proven experience in financial services or a related field is preferred. Strong understanding of real estate transactions and escrow processes is advantageous. Proficient in basic mathematics with the ability to perform calculations accurately. Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using computer software and technology relevant to escrow management.
