Your new role



The ESG Manager, Digital Science, is responsible for developing, implementing, and

overseeing the organisation's environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategy, with a particular focus on the E and G. This role will ensure the company operates sustainably and responsibly, meeting regulatory requirements and stakeholder expectations and with a particular focus on ensuring the delivery of customer requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of ESG principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with various teams across the wider DS and HPG organisations.



This role is part time - a 0.6 FTE.

What you'll be doing





Strategy & Execution:

Develop and implement a focused ESG strategy aligned with business goals and customer expectations.

Reporting & Compliance:

Lead ESG data collection and reporting, including frameworks such as SBTi and EcoVadis.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Serve as the primary ESG contact, working cross-functionally with teams across Digital Science, HPG, and external partners.

Risk & Regulation:

Monitor and mitigate ESG risks, staying ahead of regulatory changes and best practices.

Project Leadership:

Oversee ESG projects such as carbon reporting and responsible sourcing programs, tracking performance against KPIs.


What you'll bring to the role





A degree in environmental science, sustainability, business, or a related field (preferred). Strong

analytical skills

--comfortable managing and interpreting ESG-related data. Excellent

written and verbal communication

--able to present complex information clearly. A proven ability to

collaborate with diverse stakeholders

and manage cross-functional projects. Passion for sustainability and the ability to embed ESG thinking across the business. Familiarity with ESG frameworks such as

SBTi

or

EcoVadis

is a strong plus.
