ESOL Classroom Assistant
Permanent, term time
Part time, 14 hours per week
Salary: Grade 3 BAR 28,784 - 30,189 per annum, Pro Rata (Starting salary commences at 28,784)
Working in the Faculty of Education and Humanities within the ESOL team, you will assist in enhancing the learning experience for ESOL students. You will assist and take guidance from the class lecturer, and support learners with specific educational needs. You will work with students in groups and on a one-to-one basis.
You must possess Higher English or an equivalent qualification, and previous experience supporting teaching and learning is required. Good general ICT skills, and the ability to work effectively in teams are also essential.
