We are seeking a passionate and experienced ESOL & Employability Tutor to join our dedicated team on a part time basis ( 2 days per week)

The Role





Macclesfield College has an innovative vision in delivering high quality education to a wide range of learners. The post-holder will be involved in planning and delivering a range of exciting courses that meets the needs of unemployed adults, adults seeking to develop their employability and personal skills for further learning and learners where English is not their first language.

Main Duties for this role include



To teach on a range of accredited and non-accredited adult courses, including ESOL & employability programmes, which meets the needs of adults from a diverse background and/or in a community setting. To plan and deliver suitable programmes of learning that help to develop personal and employability skills as preparation for employment, volunteering or further learning. To prepare appropriate teaching and learning materials. To plan each session so as to meet the needs of all learners and enable all to participate and progress. To maintain a register of attendance for each session and ensure all MIS data is correct. To keep a record of course work and individual student progress To adhere to the college quality procedures
