Job Description

Just Learn are looking for a ESOL Tutor to tutor a Yr 11 learner, 2 hours of English every week. ( one hour per day, twice a week, any week day from 3.30pm to 4.30pm) in SM6 0BY area.

Duties:
- Provide one-on-one tutoring in English.
- Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to the individual needs of each student.
- Assess student's learning needs and create personalized learning goals.
- Assist students with homework assignments and test preparation.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians.
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage students and promote a positive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of teaching sessions and student progress.

Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to establish rapport with students and their families.
- Patience and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Knowledge of various teaching techniques and strategies for different learning styles.
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom setting and maintain discipline.
- Proficient in using educational technology tools for instruction.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Must have ESOL experience working with children or students in a educational setting.

The teacher must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update System or be willing to pay towards the cost of one.
