Esports Arena Manager (Setup and Operations)

Job Overview

We are planning to open a 24-hour esports arena in London, integrating esports gaming, event hosting, and dining/leisure experiences. We are seeking an experienced

Esports Arena Manager

to oversee the pre-opening setup and ongoing operations. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in

venue leasing, licensing applications, renovation oversight, supply chain coordination, and project setup

. This role offers either a

short-term project contract

or a

long-term employment contract

, depending on the candidate's background.

Key Responsibilities

Site Selection and Leasing

: Identify and secure a suitable venue, managing communication and negotiations with landlords or agents.

Licensing and Compliance

: Handle applications for necessary licenses, including the

Premises Licence

,

Late Night Refreshment Licence

, and other permits required for 24-hour operations.

Renovation and Construction Oversight

: Coordinate with design and construction teams to ensure renovation progress and quality meet standards.

Supply Chain Coordination

: Establish partnerships with esports hardware suppliers, furniture vendors, and food/beverage providers.

Pre-Opening Setup

: Develop operational workflows, assist in recruiting and training staff, and establish the foundational supply chain system.

Operational Management

: For candidates on a long-term contract, responsibilities will extend to daily operations, team management, and financial oversight post-opening.

Qualifications

Prior experience in

setting up or managing catering, entertainment venues, esports arenas, internet cafes, or similar complexes

is preferred.

Familiarity with the application process for

UK business licenses and late-night operating permits

.

Knowledge of

property lease negotiations and renovation project management

.

Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Fluent in English, with the ability to effectively liaise with local authorities and suppliers.
