Cardiff and Vale College is on the lookout for a dynamic Essential Skills Lecturer to join our high-performing Automotive Department. Based at our cutting-edge Automotive Centre on Dumballs Road, this is your chance to inspire the next generation of automotive professionals..

Responsibilities include:

Undertaking classroom teaching, preparation and marking; Undertaking all organisational and administrative work associated with the above; Liaising and communicating effectively with relevant course tutors, ensuring accuracy of qualification registration and ensuring claims are submitted in accordance with College policies and procedures Undertaking relevant continuous professional development and training; Referring learners to support services within the college; i.e., learning coaches, wellbeing officers and counsellors; Participating in the annual staff appraisal; Assisting in monitoring and tracking of student progress and entitlement to additional learning (ALN) support; Welsh language skills are not essential but would be desirable for this role.
