We are seeking a proactive and versatile Estate coordinator to work closely with our estate Manager to oversee and support the daily operations of our farm estates. With 3500 acres dedicated to parsley alone.
This role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth running of field activities, factory processes, and sustainability initiatives, while upholding high standards of safety, quality, and environmental stewardship.
Responsibilities
Assistance in management of Farmers and fields.
Assistance in Management of Harvesting Contractors
Assisting in Management of buildings and yard areas
Supporting Estate manager in all operations
Field staff management
Supporting Production Manager in factory processes
Day to day running of distillery process (once a year)
Omnia database daily management
Operational Planning
Passion:
Estate/Grower/Harvesting Contractor administration.
Field inspections and issuing field reports to growers.
Liaise with growers, agronomist and harvesting contractor about harvest schedule.
Lead the Regenerative Agriculture programme.
Get involved in trials and reviews of different practices.
Preparation and maintenance of boiler/steam system for distillery.
Health, safety and environmental committee member.
Integrity:
Documentation and administration of seed, new fields, and new growers.
Follow legislation regarding pesticide regulations and approvals.
Monitoring of spray programs.
Creation of harvest schedule weekly throughout season.
Assessment of suitability for proposed fields.
Stockkeeping, packaging for delivery, paperwork/administrative work for chamomile.
Collection of farm assurance certificates from growers.

Numeracy and literacy and IT skills.
BOAS boiler operation certification. desired
Flexibility

A flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and extra hours during peak periods, to meet the demands of a seasonal 24/7 business
Ability to operate site machinery.
Collaboration - Liaise effectively with Harvesting Team Leaders, Supervisors, Estate Manager, Production Manager, and Engineering Manager on any issues.
PA1/2
Telehandler desired.
