We're looking for a proactive and reliable

Estates Assistant

to join our dedicated Estates team at

EKC Dover College

. This is your chance to play a vital role in ensuring our campus remains safe, secure, and welcoming for staff, students, and visitors.


What you'll do:




Provide essential caretaking services across the college Unlock and lock buildings daily, ensuring the campus is ready for operation (early and late shifts) Set and deactivate intruder alarms before and after operational hours (including weekends) Act as a responsible key holder for the college site Participate in our on-call rota to support any urgent site needs

About You





We are seeking to appoint an

enthusiastic and conscientious

member to join our team. You will be able to work independently or as part of a team, with a flexible approach to tasks and shift patterns. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential.


Key responsibilities include:




Testing, monitoring, and maintaining Legionellosis records Conducting emergency lighting tests and maintaining accurate records
If you have experience in these areas, along with a passion for sharing your knowledge and expertise, this could be the ideal position for you. Whilst previous experience is an advantage, your enthusiasm and commitment are what matter most.
