We're on the hunt for an
Estimating Administrator
who's ready to bring order, flair, and a touch of magic to our estimating team. You'll be the glue that holds the numbers together, the wizard behind the bids, and the master of all things admin. The Estimator will play a crucial role in supporting our Estimating Manager and other departments in the business.
Responsibilities
Prepare, format, and manage cost estimates, bid proposals, and related documentation, including copy quotations.
Maintain accurate records of estimates, supplier quotes, and project details within the company database.
Ensure all documentation aligns with company procedures and industry standards.
Manage the estimating team's inbox, ensuring timely responses and appropriate direction of enquiries.
Monitor bid submissions to ensure deadlines are consistently met.
Compile and distribute regular reports on estimating activity, bid success rates, and project costs.
Support the estimating team in communicating project requirements to internal stakeholders.
Coordinate bid submissions, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and submitted on time.
Assist with the implementation of digital tools and software to streamline workflows.
Spot opportunities to make things smoother, faster, and smarter.
Qualifications & skills
2 years minimum experience in an admin role preferably in a construction or HVAC Industry.
Experience using Microsoft Office programmes such as excel, word and Outlook.
A sharp eye for detail
Great communication skills
Professional telephone manner
Ability to multi-task
A can-do attitude and proactive mindset
