We continue in our search to appoint an Estimator to join our dedicated and growing team.

The Martin Sewell Building Company are a long-established, family run construction firm based in Chichester, West Sussex continuing to expand. Having recently recruited and retained a position our company's growth requires further strengthening of our Estimating Function. The role presents the right candidate with a unique opportunity to contribute to

Our primary work involves high-end private clients within a 40 mile radius of our offices. We take on diverse projects, each presenting its own challenges, and we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and quality. We are looking for a dedicated, adaptable individual who can ensure a steady pipeline of profitable work for the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate, competitive and well-documented tenders that are both clear and easily understood by our clients and team. Your work will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's future and growth, so a proactive, driven, and innovative mindset is essential.

The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in the construction industry, preferably with knowledge of historical buildings. With a proven ability to win work that is competitively and realistically priced. Personal qualities we value include honesty, excellent communication and negotiation skills, the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team, and the capacity to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Strong IT skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving are also essential.
