Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Estimator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in estimating within the stone or construction industry and be confident in pricing bespoke projects, reading technical drawings and working closely with clients and the production team

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate cost estimates for stone projects based on drawings, specifications, and site visits Analyse materials, labour, and time requirements for each job Liaise with architects, contractors, and internal departments to clarify project scope and requirements Manage tender and bid submissions Monitor costs and adjust estimates when necessary Maintain records of estimates, bids, and project pricing history Visit sites or clients when needed (occasionally)

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Estimator, specifically within the stonework, masonry or construction sectors Strong understanding of stone materials, fabrication, and installation processes Ability to read technical drawings and architectural plans Excellent numerical and analytical skills Strong attention to detail and organisation Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and estimating software Self-motivated and able to work independently
