You'll be responsible for delivering a continuous flow of new business and identifying future opportunities in both competitive tendering and design & build projects. This is a key position within our Preconstruction and Estimating team, working on projects ranging from 100k to 8m across Cambridge, Oxford, Milton Keynes, Norwich, and London.
Key Responsibilities
Pursue new business opportunities and manage tender submissions
Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
Visit project sites, review bids/specifications, and prepare quotations
Compile construction sequencing programmes and pricing for tender bids
Analyse risks, perform take-offs, and conduct post-tender analysis
Negotiate material costs and produce detailed scopes of work
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and company policies
What We're Looking For
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in construction/fit-out estimating
Strong understanding of construction processes and building regulations
Competence in Microsoft Office; experience with Eque2 Evaluate and MS Project is desirable
