are working with a highly reputable, long-standing manufacturing client based in Colwick, who produces a range of industrial metalwork fabrications for global clients.

Due to organic growth and a healthy order book, we are seeking a

Junior/Trainee Estimator

to join their growing and dynamic team on a permanent basis. The opportunity would suit a graduate or somebody who has a background in Mechanical engineering and wants to pursue a career in Estimating.

Responsibilities

:

- Assisting in preparing cost estimates and quotes.

- Reviewing technical drawings to determine materials and costs.

- Communicating with suppliers to get pricing.

- Supporting the Senior Estimators and learning the trade.

Requirements

:

- Previous experience Estimating is preferred.

- Basic understanding of metal fabrication or engineering.

- Mechanical Engineering degree preferred but not essential.

- Previous experience in Manufacturing is essential.

- Ability to read technical drawings.

- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.

Salary and Hours:

- Starting salary 25000 to 30000 (depending on experience)

- 39 Hours per week

- Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00.
