Estimator - Demolition/Deconstruction

Locations:

Head office is Caterham, Surrey (own transport required), with site locations around London which can be utilised as an office base.

Job Type:

Full-time, Permanent

Salary:

30,000 - 40,000 pa, based on experience

Estimator

, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our projects by preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates.

The Role

As an

Estimator

, you will:
? Review architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and project documents to prepare cost estimates
? Conduct site visits during the tender period
? Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information
? Analyse and quantify materials, labour, and equipment costs
? Prepare and present detailed cost breakdowns, proposals, and bid packages
? Use estimating software (Active Take-off) for take-offs
? Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and improve estimation accuracy

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a Demolition, Deconstruction or Construction Estimator Strong knowledge of demolition and/or construction methods, processes, and materials Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings Proficiency in estimating software and online document systems Strong communication and organisational skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
