Salary:

40,000 - 65,000 per year (Negotiable based on experience)

Hours:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (1-hour lunch)

About the Role:

We are seeking an

experienced Flat Roofing Estimator

with strong refurbishment knowledge to join our Bedford-based estimating team. You will play a key role in preparing accurate tenders and supporting project success.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare competitive and accurate tenders for flat roofing refurbishment projects Conduct site visits if required, take-offs, and material assessments Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure clarity in costings Assist with project handovers to the contracts team Stay updated on industry standards, materials, and installation techniques

About You:

2-5 years' experience in flat roofing estimating (refurbishment focus preferred) Proven track record in commercial and/or residential projects Strong numerical and analytical skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating software (roofing-specific packages advantageous)

Desirable:

Degree or qualification in construction management In-depth knowledge of refurbishment processes and materials Valid driving licence and ability to work at height if required DBS check (provided by company)
