We specialise in providing high standard Fire Safety and Passive Fire Protection services to top niche clients from a broad number of industries such as Construction, Hotels Sport and Leisure, Housing, Education, Commercial, Manufacturing and Industrial.

Role Overview

As an Estimator, you will be part of the Sales & Marketing Team and will support the Global HSE Group by producing accurate and compliant quotations for our clients.

Ideally have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role. A background and experience in estimating is a must, experience with firestopping, doors and dampers would be preferable.

Previous Administration/Operations experience is essential

Willingness for learning and training in the Construction / Passive Fire Protection

Should be familiar with compiling rates from first principles.

Excellent organisation skills.

Ability to work to tight deadlines.

Excellent communication skills including face to face meetings and telephone and MS Teams communications.

Good IT skills and a familiarity with Microsoft software.

Key Responsibilities

Producing estimates for all Passive Fire solutions including, but not limited to, surveys, doors/remedials, firestopping and dampers.

Producing accurate quotations for clients.

Ability to read and interpret site drawings/reports accurately.

Keep up to date with knowledge of Passive Fire and Fire Stopping legislation.

Preparation of bills of materials and quotations from client specifications

Ability to interpret client's requirements accurately.

Build successful working relationships with clients and internal teams.

Prioritisation of workload to ensure client's deadlines are met.

Requirements

Full UK driving licence DBS checked Preferably a construction related qualification to at least NVQ Level 3 or ONC 2 years' experience in Passive Fire Protection
