Floor-d Projects is an flooring contractor based in the Northwest of England, ideally positioned to service both local and national projects. We maintain high standards throughout each project, overseen by our experienced directors, Nick Abbott and Martin Smith, who have over 60 years of combined experience. Our team of CSCS accredited flooring installers ensures that every job is professionally handled and expertly fitted. We have successfully completed large and prestigious installations across the UK, such as The Ned Hotel in London and the Co-op Headquarters in Manchester.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Oldham for an Estimator. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for flooring projects, analyzing project requirements, and liaising with suppliers and clients. Daily tasks include collecting and analyzing data, preparing detailed reports, and collaborating with project managers and installation teams to ensure successful project delivery. You will be working on MS 365 and Construction Manager (experience within this package would be an advantage)

Qualifications

Experience in cost estimating and project analysis Proficiency in data collection and report preparation Strong communication and negotiation skills for liaising with clients and suppliers Familiarity with flooring materials and installation processes would be an advantage Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Experience in the construction or flooring industry is a plus

Pay: 35,000.00-42,739.00 per year
