As part of our expansion programme, we are currently looking to recruit an experienced:

ESTIMATOR -

Internal Fit Out

Location

: Head Office Based - Peterborough (Orton Southgate, Close to A1)

Hours:

Full Time - Monday - Friday

Salary

: 55,000 + p.a + Other Benefits & Bonuses Dependent on Experience, Capabilities & Ambition

Our Company prides itself on high standards, professionalism and quality of project delivery. Working with numerous high profile clients, we are looking for an experienced Estimator who have a can do attitude that's proven within the shopfitting or internal fit out sector.

Key Accountabilities:

Valuing subcontract accounts

Preparing and updating regular valuations and final account forecasts

Monthly reconciliation reports

Identifying, analysing and reducing commercial risks

Preparation and submission of final accounts

Agreement and certification of sub-contractors valuations and final accounts

Manage and value variations

Maintain sub-contract database

Assess tender documents to ensure sufficient information available to prepare costing documents

Prepare and issue sub-contract enquiries and assessment of quotations upon receipt

Complete tender documents for submission and follow-up

Prepare specifications and / or contractors proposals

Maintain contract documentation and advise on pre-tender and post contract matters

Carry out take offs for material procurement

E-mail site measurements

Personal Specification & Qualities:

Internal fit out specific experience, and au fait with the 'fast track' industry mentality

JCT Contract understanding

Diligent numerical professional

Excellent Microsoft Excel skills

A full driving licence

High degree of personal motivation, enthusiastic and ambitious

Must have commercial acumen & be financially astute

Proficient in sub-contractor negotiations

Must be able to carry out take off's / form quantities & formalise Bill of Quantities

Ability to work as part of a close-knit management team and manage numerous activities

Outgoing personality essential for dealing directly with clients and their design team

Flexibility - working across all areas of business and hours to meet requirements & tight deadlines
