Job Description

We are seeking an Estimator to join our dynamic team . This role is integral to our operations, as you will be responsible for analyzing project costs and ensuring accurate estimates are provided to our clients. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the success of our recruitment efforts in the construction and engineering sectors.

You must have experience of new build, refurbishment projects up to 5 million. Any experience of Estimating software such as conquest is an advantage

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for various projects based on specifications and drawings. Analyze labor, material, and overhead costs to ensure accuracy in estimates. Collaborate with project managers and clients to clarify project requirements and expectations. Review and assess bids from subcontractors and suppliers for accuracy. Maintain a database of historical cost data for future reference. Provide support during the bidding process by preparing necessary documentation.

Requirements

Proven experience as an estimator in the construction or engineering industry. Strong understanding of cost control principles and practices. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
