Leda Group are working with a leading construction company specialising in refurbishments, commercial builds, and high-end residential projects based in Oxfordshire.

We're seeking a confident detail-driven Estimator with a strong background in construction to join our growing pre-construction team, supporting the delivery of competitive and winning tenders across a range of exciting projects in Oxford and the surrounding areas.

the role is for a well-established main contractor with a reputation for quality, reliability, and collaborative delivery. Their project portfolio includes residential, education, healthcare, and commercial builds--ranging from 0.5M to 3M in value.

The Role

As an Estimator, you'll play a key role in the tendering process--working closely with the pre-construction and commercial teams to assess project requirements, prepare accurate cost estimates, and support winning bid strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotes Conduct value engineering and risk assessments Attend pre-tender and post-tender meetings Work closely with planners, bid writers, and project teams to deliver winning proposals

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as an Estimator in the main contracting sector Strong understanding of construction processes and cost planning Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Ability to manage multiple tenders under tight deadlines A collaborative and proactive mindset
