Estimator - VRS

to strengthen our Safety Fencing division.

The Role

You will take ownership of estimating and tendering, producing accurate and competitive bids, and ensuring projects are commercially robust. Reporting into senior leadership, this role offers genuine scope for progression within a business known for developing its people.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed estimates from drawings, surveys, and client specifications Carry out site visits to assess conditions and gather information Produce tenders and support commercial negotiations Work closely with Commercial and Operations teams to deliver successful projects Build and maintain client relationships to drive repeat business and revenue growth

Essential Skills and Experience

Proven experience in estimating, tendering, and commercial delivery in highways or construction, with projects of 1m+ Strong technical knowledge of VRS and fencing systems, with awareness of relevant safety standards Ability to manage processes and contribute to team performance in a results-driven environment Skilled in interpreting technical drawings and using Microsoft Office and estimating software Strong commercial, analytical, and risk management skills Familiarity with NEC contracts and recognised methods of measurement
