Summary

We are seeking an Estimator to join our team at T Brown & Sons. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing project costs and providing accurate estimates to ensure our clients receive the best value for their welding and metal fabrication needs.

Responsibilities

Review project specifications and drawings to prepare detailed cost estimates. Analyze labor, material, and overhead costs to develop accurate pricing. Collaborate with project managers and clients to clarify requirements and expectations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and pricing structures. Prepare and present estimates to clients in a clear and professional manner. Ensure all estimates are completed within set deadlines.

Requirements

Proven experience as an estimator in the metal fabrication or construction industry is preferred. Strong understanding of cost control principles and practices. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. Effective communication skills for client interactions and presentations. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
