JOB PURPOSE
The ETS & CORSIA Specialist will assist the ETS & CORSIA Manager in maintaining and enhancing compliance and reporting processes related to the CH/EU/UK ETS (ETS), the Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA), the French Offsetting Scheme - Article 147 (French Decree), and the ReFuelEU Aviation (RFEUA) regulations. This role will work across all easyJet AOCs.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
> Assist in the development, maintenance, and approval of Monitoring Plans for ETS Schemes, CORSIA, and RFEUA across all relevant states.
> Support the reporting of emissions for ETS Schemes, CORSIA, Mandatory Offsetting, and RFEUA in accordance with approved Monitoring Plans.
> Aid in the monitoring and reporting of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) usage, ensuring compliance with both mandated and voluntary SAF uplifts at all airports, with additional reporting requirements for Union Airports.
> Contribute to Anti-Tankering Monitoring & Reporting, ensuring that fuel uplifts meet the required thresholds to avoid penalties under RFEUA regulations.
> Help in gathering and verifying documentation for emissions reduction claims related to SAF types and certifications, including claiming incentives such as allowances under the EU ETS.
> Support the delivery of improvements recommended by verifiers to state authorities.
> Assist in the monitoring of all regulatory and industry developments related to ETS Schemes, CORSIA, Mandatory Offsetting, and RFEUA compliance to ensure that easyJet maintains adherence to regulations and adopts best practices.
> Coordinate and participate in cross-functional meetings related to ETS Schemes, CORSIA, Mandatory Offsetting, and RFEUA.
> Support the easyJet Sustainability Programme and fuel efficiency initiatives.
> Assist in the development of reporting capabilities to support fuel, ETS, and SAF reporting.
> Help optimise fuel reporting capabilities across the business to ensure a "single source" of fuel data and simplification of reporting processes.
> Support the management and oversight of all internal and external audits related to environmental compliance.
> Assist in the development of an environmental policy document applicable to Flight Operations.
> Build strong relationships internally across all relevant departments and externally with State Environmental agencies, verifiers, and third-party suppliers.
> Ensure that all company processes relating to ETS Schemes, CORSIA, Mandatory Offsetting, and RFEUA Reporting are kept fully up to date and compliant with all regulations.
> Support training for all relevant employees to ensure robust adoption of succession plans and compliance requirements.

LOCATION & HOURS OF WORK
This full time role will be based in Luton on a hybrid working model and will be 40 hours per week.
