Evening and Weekends Dental Nurse.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting dental professionals, ensuring patients receive high-quality care in a comfortable environment. Duties

Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety Prepare treatment rooms by sterilising instruments and setting up necessary equipment Provide pre- and post-treatment care instructions to patients Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using IT systems Support with administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and patient correspondence Ensure the clinical environment adheres to health and safety standards Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns and providing reassurance Support infection control protocols through proper sterilisation and disposal of materials

Requirements

Proven experience in patient care within a healthcare or dental setting is preferred Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Basic IT skills for maintaining electronic patient records and scheduling systems Knowledge of nursing practices relevant to dental care is desirable Ability to work as part of a team while demonstrating professionalism and empathy Good organisational skills to ensure smooth clinic operations A recognised qualification in nursing or dental assisting is advantageous but not essential
