We're looking for a reliable and compassionate Evening Care Assistant to join our team at Towy Castle Care Home. If you're someone who enjoys bringing comfort, dignity, and support to others during the later part of the day, we'd love to hear from you.

About Towy Castle

Towy Castle is a 61-bed residential care home, set in beautiful landscaped grounds with views over the Towy estuary. With more than 35 years of trusted service, we specialise in dementia and elderly care, delivered with respect, compassion, and a strong person-centred approach.

Your Role

As an Evening Care Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting residents through their afternoon and evening routines, helping them feel comfortable and cared for before settling down for the night.

Key responsibilities include:

Assisting with personal care, hygiene, and evening routines Supporting with meals, hydration, and medication prompts (where trained) Providing companionship, reassurance, and emotional support Helping residents prepare for bedtime in a calm, dignified way Maintaining a safe and tidy environment Working closely with colleagues to ensure smooth handovers

What We're Looking For

? Previous care experience preferred (training can be provided)
? NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
? Compassionate, patient, and attentive to individual needs
? Team player with good communication skills
? Reliable and flexible to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota
