17:00 - 22:00 | 3 shifts per week | Includes weekends & bank holidays

We're looking for a kind, dependable Evening Care Assistant to join our friendly team at Towy Castle Care Home. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping others wind down at the end of the day, providing comfort, dignity, and reassurance to our residents during the quieter hours.

About Towy Castle

Nestled in beautiful countryside near Carmarthen, Towy Castle is a 61-bed residential home providing high-quality care for older adults, including those living with dementia. With over 35 years of dedicated service, we pride ourselves on being a warm, supportive, and welcoming place to both live and work.

Your Role

You'll be part of our evening care team, helping residents feel relaxed, safe, and cared for before bedtime. Duties include:

Supporting residents with evening personal care routines Assisting with meals, drinks, and medication (where appropriate) Providing companionship and emotional reassurance Helping residents prepare for bed and settle for the night Maintaining a calm, clean, and respectful environment

What We're Looking For

? A caring, patient, and reliable nature
? Previous experience in a care home (preferred but not essential)
? NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care - or willingness to complete
? Strong teamwork and communication skills
? Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays as part of a rota
