Evening Care Assistant - Newport & Monmouth

Hours:

Evening shifts up to 10:00pm | Full-time or part-time

Pay:

13.00 - 13.50 per hour

Make evenings easier and more comfortable for clients in their own homes. As an Evening Care Assistant, you'll provide personalised support, companionship, and reassurance while helping clients wind down for the night. Every visit is an opportunity for you to make a meaningful difference.

What You'll Be Doing

During your evening visits, you'll help clients feel safe, comfortable, and cared for:

Supporting evening routines, including washing, dressing, and toileting Preparing light evening meals or snacks Assisting with medications and bedtime routines Offering companionship and emotional support Helping with light household tasks to maintain a safe home Supporting mobility (transfers, walking aids, hoists if required) Keeping the care team updated to ensure seamless support

Essential Requirements:

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Right to work in the UK Good spoken and written English Compassionate and respectful approach to care Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
